What exactly is Cleverhand?
Cleverhand creates one-of-a-kind hand-painted artworks — made from your words. You choose the names, lyrics, vows or quote, and I paint it by hand using brush lettering on beautiful archival paper. No prints or copies — every piece is unique.
How do I know what it will look like?
Each Cleverhand piece has its own natural style — that’s part of the charm. You can browse examples on my website and Instagram to get a feel for the style, but no two pieces are ever the same.
Do you send a proof before painting?
Because every artwork is fully hand-painted (not digitally designed), I don’t send proofs. Please double-check your spelling and punctuation before ordering — what you provide is exactly what I’ll paint.

What materials do you use?
All artworks are created using waterproof black ink on 300gsm archival art paper, designed to last beautifully for years to come.
Are they framed?
All pieces are unframed so you can style them your way. Each size fits standard frames from stores like Country Road, IKEA and Adairs.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes — I carefully package every order and ship across Australia. If you’re overseas or sending internationally, please email me at emily@cleverhand.com.au and I’ll do my best to arrange it.
How long will it take?
Christmas orders close Sunday 23 November (or when sold out). All artworks will be painted and posted by Friday 5 December, giving them plenty of time to arrive for Christmas.
What if something happens to my order?
Every Cleverhand piece is packaged securely in a rigid mailer with protective layers (or in a tube if A2 size). If something arrives damaged (rare, but it happens), just email me at emily@cleverhand.com.au within 48 hours and I’ll make it right.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat rate of $10 Australia-wide, or you can choose Express for $15. Tracking is included with every order.
